Do I need to speak Finnish?
No. There are 987 degree programs taught entirely in English, across all 38 Finnish institutions. You can search them by subject and level on this site.
What does it actually cost?
Tuition is free for EU/EEA students. Non-EU/EEA students pay roughly €8,000–€18,000 per year, and most universities offer scholarships covering 25%–100% of that. Living costs run about €800–€1,100 a month depending on the city. The cost calculator gives you a real figure for your situation.
Is this site free, and how do you make money?

Do I need an agency to apply?
No. Most Finnish programs are applied for through a single national joint application on Studyinfo.fi, and you can do it yourself for free. Agencies typically charge €1,500–€3,000 for this. If you'd still like help, we can match you with an advisor.
