The University of Vaasa is among the top 300 in Europe (QS 2025) and the top 500 universities in the world (Times Higher Education (THE) ranking 2026). The University also ranks in the top 50 worldwide in Business Administration (2025 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) published by Shanghai Ranking). The University of Vaasa was first established in 1968 and our beautiful campus is located a short walk away from Vaasa city centre and looks out over the coastline of West Finland, just across from Sweden. The University of Vaasa is an internationally competitive university with a high-level expertise in business, computing, technology, management and communications. The University offers English language and Finnish language options at Bachelor, Master and Doctoral level in the fields of business, technology, management and communication.
